Prof. Tanya Reinhart teaches linguistics, media and cultural studies at the Tel Aviv University and at the University of Utrecht. She is most well known academically for her contribution to theoretical linguistics. Her areas of research are syntax, semantics, lexicon and the interface. Her recent publication is Interface Strategies: Reference Set Computation, (MIT Press, May 2006). She is the author of The Roadmap to Nowhere: Israel/Palestine since 2003 (Verso, May 2006) and Israel/Palestine: How to End the War of 1948 (Seven Stories Press, October 2002). She has had a regular critical column in the biggest Israeli daily, Yediot Aharonot, as well as many articles on the Internet and international fora.
