Sheldon Rampton

Sheldon Rampton is the Executive Director of the Center for Media and Democracy, a nonprofit organization based in Madison, Wisconsin. Along with John Stauber, he is the co-founder and editor of the quarterly publication PR Watch also based in Madison, Wisconsin. His latest book along with John Stauber is Banana Republicans: How the Right Wing Is Turning America into a One-Party State (Tarcher/Penguin). Rampton and Stauber previous book is Weapons of Mass Deception: The Uses of Propaganda in Bush’s War on Iraq.
