Anthony Arnove

Anthony Arnove is the editor of Iraq Under Siege (South End/Pluto, 2000) and a collection of interviews with Howard Zinn, Terrorism and War (Seven Stories Press, 2002). He is co-editor with Howard Zinn of Voices of a People’s History of the United States (Seven Stories Press, October 2004). His new book is Iraq: The Logic of Withdrawal (The New Press, April 2006), with an introduction by Howard Zinn, the author of Vietnam: The Logic of Withdrawal (1967). Following in the footsteps of Zinn nearly forty years later, Arnove sets out a forceful argument for the immediate withdrawal of troops from Iraq. He is also a contributor to The Struggle for Palestine (Haymarket Books), and has written for Z Magazine, the Nation, In These Times, Monthly Review, the Financial Times, and other publications. He lives in Brooklyn, New York.
